Omet has unveiled its new KFlex K6 platform at Labelexpo Europe 2025. Omet describes the new product launch as a benchmark printing system that combines maximum flexibility, efficiency, and quality for label and flexible packaging applications.

The Italian manufacturer is demonstrating the K6 alongside its XFlex X7 press at booth 3E73. Omet describes this global debut as tomorrow’s printing standard. According to the company, the K6 represents a new concept in modular and fully interchangeable printing platforms.

The system features direct-driven flexo units with sleeve technology, a Swich interchangeability system, automatic pressure adjustment and control, and a new interchangeable offset unit.

The platform includes Omet’s Cold Foil Saver technology, which delivers up to 50% material savings in cold foil applications. Next-generation Vision and Multivision systems optimize automated register adjustment while minimizing waste, as well.

Omet is also showcasing its XFlex X7, designed for shrink sleeve and flexible packaging production. The press features fully servo-driven “Zero-Gear” flexo units, reaching speeds of 250 m/m.

The company’s digital portfolio, which includes Omet Sfera for production data collection and real-time analytics, Omet Nova for virtual remote assistance, Omet Gaia for AI-integrated machine management and Omet Tasker workflow management system, has also been displayed.

Live demonstrations of both presses are running throughout each day, with the K6 showing at 10:30 am, 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm, and the XFlex X7 demonstrating at 11:30 am, 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm.
